This is what I get when I start up my laptop and try to boot from the primary hard drive
” Windows could not start because of a computer disk hardware configuration problem.
Could not read from the selected boot disk. Check boot path and disk hardware.
Please check the Windows documentation about hardware disk configuration and your hardware reference manuals for additional information. ”
Now I’ll admit, I was modifying partitions, but only ones I felt I did not need anymore!!! I didn’t expect something like this to happen, I’m a bit of an advanced operating system stuff newbie as I just got into linux.
Anyway, is there any way I can fix my booting? I have a (Super OS) (modified ubuntu distro) live usb pendrive available, and I can boot to it; I’m actually using the live ubuntu to write this now to tell you the truth. I also have a comp upstairs that works perfectly and I can install anything to. But anyway, I have no windows cd at least until monday (but I’d like to fix it ASAP) and cannot burn my own because my dvd/cd drive on my not booting comp doesn’t work. Tx.
