I’m trying all kinds of distros, and the cd’s are stacking up. I notice most can fit on my usb drive, is there a way after I download the distro I can put it on my usb stick and boot to it, then install if I like the distro?

Also is there a way to save files to my windows partition when I’m using a Live Linux CD?

I don’t have any cds to burn a livecd, so is there any other way to install linux without a live cd?
Then how do I register online to get a CD from ubuntu.com or other sites?
Never mind, figured it out..
Could I use Wine Tools to emulate windows and run netgear wireless assistant? Would that work or is there an easier way. I don’t want to install any linux distros, just run live cds. Is there any distro that will easily let m connect to a wireless network?
