here’s wat i tried and didn’t work
i shifted the binary file onto my hard drive and then tried to install through the tracker but it didn’t work

I have a PC Linux OS live cd?
I have a PC Linux OS live cd. To install it in my computer what should i do…? I have tried inserting it in the drive and restarting-then i press f 9 for rebooting or something-then they ask me whether i wanna select floppy or CD ROM or something else and i chose CD ROM and they open the CD.Now what….???

windows xp disk(oem) dosent see my harddrive when i wanna install xp?
im useing linux (ubuntu) and im trying to install windows xp for photoshop cs4 (dosnt work with WINE:( )so windows is my last opitunity … so i used the live cd to partition my hard drive and ive now got a 21gb partion id like to install xp on i formated it to fat32 ( it wont let me format it to ntfs) then booted from my xp disk but it tells me i have no harddrives

can i mount a os live cd on a virtual drive and make it work as a bootable os?
i wanna mount linux, but i dont wanna modify my HD, i have xp on it and i would like to keep it that way, i just like programing better with linux, however i need the cd rom while i program… can i mount the linux live cd into a virtual drive and will it work?
i alredy know how to mount stuff to a virtual drive, but i just dont know the bootable part
