What is the best Linux Version?

What is the best version of Linux besides Ubuntu. I already tried Ubuntu and found it to my liking. I now want to give another version of Linux a try. My requirements are that it needs to be capable of being downloaded to make a live cd. Also, it must be able to dual boot with Windows XP! As well as this information, could you as well provide me links to videos with demonstrations and features as well as a dual boot tutorial for the Linux version you recommend. I appreciate your help! Thanks!

Questions on installing Linux/Ubuntu on computer that has Win xp already.?

I would like to give this a try, I kind of like Ubuntu after using the live cd.

Whats the best way to do this…I want to keep XP and Ubuntu/Linux on the same machine.

Here’s what I have
2 hard drives
1 30gb with XP on it
1 150gb just with file storage on it

How do I do this, just start up the ‘install’ icon from the live CD? Do I need to do anything special? Should I put linux on the 150gb drive that has no OS on it currently?

How do I get the computer to let me choose Linux or XP upon start up? Can this even be done?

Thanks in advance for your help, and feel free to post links to help files on this if you have them!

How do I install ubuntu 7.04 on my intel macbook pro? Preferably using a boot cd.?

Specifically, I want to try ubuntu on my macbook pro and have heard that I can use a live cd to do so. However all the tutorials I have found are very out of date. How do I do this? Or if I did want to dual boot, how would I? I mostly want to experiment with Linux and am very intrigued by ubuntu and want to give berryl a try. What can I do?
