Should i tell my High School Admin?

Hello, im in 8th grade, and i’d consider myself computer savvy for my age, and well i have a question, i go to a really small school (70 kids in a grade) 7-12 in the high school, and well… i found some security flaws in our computer system

like he allows us to use Command Prompt.. it’s not so bad, because were limited user, but still… bad idea

we are allowed to boot up into safe mode, which we can then change the pass if i wanted to…

we are aloud to boot up on a live CD, so then i could get the Hash, and just use rainbow tables to crack it… not a good idea

and we are aloud to type in “C:Documents and Settingsnameofperson” into a web browser, and view all their files… even the admin..

and a couple other things.. im taking algebra 1 + 2 online, and i would rather not have my computer privilages taken away, but i would like to get credit and would prefer if he new who i was (knowing that he wouldn’t get me in trouble) i also would like to suggest installing linux on all the systems, because im the only kid i know in the whole school (i know most of the 5-10 graders) that has ever even heard of linux, much less find security flaws in it, also we are going into budget cuts, so i think that it would help, not having to buy all the “updated” apps… but i would like to help install it if i could… I have thought about writing an email from some random email address… but like i said, i’d like to get credit for it. is there any high school admin’s out there? if so, what would you do if a student told you all this? would you bust them?
