i am on a linux live cd (slax) which allows me to download and burn files on disc
well then what could i do to fix my hard drive from the state im in

Help installing Windows XP sp2.?
Alright, I need to reinstall Windows XP sp2 I’ve got a os recovery disk from dell, when I try to install it everything goes fine until a few minutes after the restart. Then It tell me to insert the disk containing “Microsoft UAA Bus Driver for High Definition Audio Installation” I’m pretty sure It should be on the os recovery disk so when I put it back in It tells me to locate the driver “hdaudbus.sys”, but my keyboard and mouse go dead. What should I do, It’s my only computer and now I’m running it on a a linux ubuntu live CD and I need Windows back up. PLEASE HELP ME!!!

how do i reinstall linux? (ubuntu)?
i only have the recovery disk (live cd) for linux, i have win xp and linux partitioned, and i want to reinstall linux to fix some problems, how do i do that without the recovery cd for xp?
