Windows keeps displaying the stop error “PROCESS1_INITIALIZATION_FAILED” when booting. Ran chkdsk several times with no luck. While using a Linux live CD, Linux can not mount the drive. Has my hard drive definitely gone bad?

Linux is showing all drives, but only C is present when windows boot, D,E&F not appearing. Install wizard of Linux not appearing on desktop.
