I’m tired of OS X 10.4.10 which crash all the time ,slow and unstable – just like Windows PC. I wanted to port to Linux ,I tried Ubuntu but it failed to boot Live CD (EE: no screen blabla, something with the xorg.conf)
So where to start?
I shall explain.
Basically, I wanted to give a linux LiveCD a test (I picked Mandriva), and so did the usual thing of putting the ISO onto the cd, and then went into system preferences and told the Mac to boot up into the CD. I only thought it would last once, and when I took the cd out and booted up, it would boot up into OS X.
However, to my horror, it asked me to insert the boot disk for Mandriva, and as I am a newbie to Linux, I didn’t know how to change it back within the LiveCD.
I need some help; I don’t want to install the LiveCD onto my mac as I only have 1 partition, so how can I make everything lovely and normal again?
i know it is out there, i have seen it but does anyone know how to get the mac os / mac os x on a “live” or livedistro cd.
this is just like the knoppix on linux
it is a cd that boots mac on a pc. how do i get it?
i want it so i can try the os and use the video editing
