Ubuntu Netbook Remix Install on Acer Aspire One?

hi. i have an acer aspire one netbook which i have decided to put ubuntu linux on as i dont like the linpus lite that comes with the acer. i am new to linux and so dont fully understand it. i have a bootable usb drive and the acer can run ubuntu as a live cd but when i try to install it i just have a full screen terminal come up with a message saying that ubuntu comes with no warranty. if i type in install and then hit enter it says ‘missing file operand’. if somebody knows why this is or if there is another command that i must use to install it please let me know as i am stuck at the moment. thanks. :)

gOS 3 Gadgets Final – Ubuntu Linux for Netbooks

gOS 3 default installation. gOS Gadgets 3 is a special Ubuntu distribution made for netbooks. It is based on Ubuntu 8.04.1. You can download the Installation disk from www.thinkgos.com It is a Live CD so you can try it on you desktop or laptop without making any changes to your computer. Tried the Live CD on my Wife’s Dell Inspiron 1525 and everything worked great except I couldn’t get the wireless working. I’m sure I could have gotten it working with some tweaking though. Comes with everything you need including Firefox, GIMP, OpenOffice and Wine 1.0.
