i run the kenopix live cd, and i would like to connect to the internet, using my DSL Speedtouch (Ethernet) Modem. i really want to surf the net on Linux but it doesn’t connect me to the internet, can someone tell me how to get connected using dsl.
ya but how do i enter the information on it?
i am useing BSNL Broadband connection the modem model is ut-300r2u which linux or live cd linux will support the modem and have any linux pls give me the download link

Dear Friends . i new to linux i have installed mandrive linux but i cannot connection BSNL Dataone Broadband connection .there is linux software but it is in text mode so i can see the all c++ programme in the kwrite.i try to get the modem software by search . i con’t get it . the software is not defult in mandrive linux .pls tell me which linux accept BSNL Dataone broadband modem model is UT-300R2U .i have fedora core 6 ,mandriva linux 2007 and Ubuntu .my friends have PClinuxOS live cd, can i install PClinuxos on my system

hey what are some new linux live cds out there that i can use for my old computer. i just need it to connect online using my itouch apps such as iphone modem or pdanet to connect online. i used puppy linux and damn small linux but both i cant get to use the itouch for online.

I am new to linux and burned a live cd knoppix iso and my country;s name is not in drop down menue.
how do i configur dial-up settings in knoppix iso to connect to internet each time ?
i am using a zoltrix 56 k modem.
