i am currently using ubuntu which is a kind of linux and its a live cd and it dosent ask for my password to get in the computer but i did it becasue i forgott my password to my windows xp proffesional edition sp2 and i tried using safe mode but it says some thing like we appolagize for the inconvinience and something else but i am sure 100% its not a virus becasue i had an anti virus and firewalls and anti spies but its just that i for gott it can some one tell another way to log in

How do I install Ubuntu Linux from command line?

I know how to get to graphics safe mode from the Live CD, but I dont know the commands….can anyone give me the list and step by step approach of how to do this? Note: I cant do it from GUI bc it hangs like crazy when I try to install it.

can’t boot into normal and safe mode?

I cannot boot my windows xp in normal nor safe mode,

previously, my xp has been infected by UPS(united parcel Service) virus.

How to fix this without reinstalling xp ?

I have a Live CD of Slitaz Linux, how can I use it to fix my Windows XP ?

How can I download an antivirus on Linux?

I have a Linux live CD I’m currently using due to some evil virus that wont let me start up my PC or even boot to safe Mode. My question is how can I download an antivirus? I’d like to check over the infected hard drive and see if it can help anything. When I try to download anything, it always say’s chose the program to run the file. I dont know what to run it with. I am using Knoppix. The OS also wont let me install flash etc seems it’s being blocked or disabled. I cant view You Tube or other videos either. It’s a nifty system but it seems to have limitations?
