My computer will not boot up windows xp. I was having problems with a few days before. It was turning off randomly. I tried to reinstall windows and the problem did not stop. Now i cant load up windows anymore. All i get is the logo that appears when i boot my computer up the the screen goes black. I have tried a live cd of linux and it works fine. What do I do to fix this.
I dont have an xp cd but a restore cd

I have been trying to set up dual booting with many different distros of linux but it seems any distro worth getting WON’T LOAD!
Ubuntu and Mint linux won’t even load the live CD. But I just recently tried linux Parsix (it’s kinda new) and I loaded the live CD, installed it on my hard drive, but when I reboot, I can’t load it! This is getting ridiculous! I know it has to be my computer because no one else seems to have this problem. It must be a problem specific to my computer because I’ve seen linux running on similar models of mine! I have a HP Pavilion dv6000t with a AMD Turion 62×2 processor. Also when I tried to load Linux Mint live CD, it said something about “Automatically not loading blacklisted module.” What is a module and why has mine been blacklisted?!
I used to have Linux Mandriva before I installed Parsix just a few minutes ago, but Mandriva just sucks sooo badly. Also it was glitchy sometimes, but that might have been because of my hardware. PLEASE HELP!
can my ps3 load a linux live cd? or even load a linux live usb key?
not nero never work for me .when i use nero its always load up

how long does it take to load the linux kernel. I sepnt like 5 minutes waiting and it didnt load. Im using the 64 bit version. im running it on a live CD. I just burnt it last night.
