>>>>i need your answer a soon as possible because i’m trying now to create a puppy linux CD from a live CD distro….
Hi I’ve recently downloaded a 7.10 version of the Ubuntu. I burned the ~700 MB of ISO file to a CD. Is that right, the CD only contains 1 file –> the ISO file.
So I don’t have to do anything with the single file?
The problem is that it doesn’t boot from CD-ROM when I restart my Laptop (Compaq Presario). I did change the Boot Order from my BIOS. Where could i have gone wrong? Please help! thanks!
I have already downloaded puppy linux 3 live CD distro which is in .ISO format.what is the next procedure in order to make a puppy linux CD installer using NERO running on WINDOWS?
* i need your answers immediately
please give step by step info ……..what opstion under i burn it ???
So i downloaded the backtrack 2 iso file (i think its a live distro linux type program) and burned it to a cd. How do run it? I have heard you run it by booting your computer from the cd drive. How exactly do i go about this (simple instructions please)? i need directions for booting from the cd drive. I have windows xp an only about 400 mb of ram. Can i run backtrack 2 (600mb program) with this little ram?
i have an emachine if that helps tell what key to hit upon startup. and i have 384mb of ram to be exact
