I want to start using Linux on my Laptop but don’t want to install it, So I want to use Live CD, Which one will let me surf the web and is the most compatible with todays computers and hardware?
My laptop is a P4 1.8ghz 256 MB WiFi 40GB Drive.

Has anyone heard of a LInux Live CD for the PS2? I don’t want to install any hardware, I just want to pop in a disk and boot to linux.

I used to try to install all versions of linux n also live cds on my lappy that is Toshiba m70 , but it used to be always stopped during intilizing the hardware , today i tried to install suse , but this time i choosed another choice , Installing ( Acpi=off ) instead of Installing only , i could enter the installation but it didn`t recognize my partitions n hard drive , what`s wrong with it ? please help me

I want to install linux on my desktop. I have xp installed at present. If it can affect hardware, can I use the live cd of linux without risking the hardware?
