i have an old gateway performace desktop pc withh penti.3 (733) and 512 ramm. i tried opensuse but for some reason wouldnt install nor would it boot from a live cd, it was almost there but after i had the curser showing the screen was black with no curser. any ideas?

I have used Linux BackTrack Live CD to successfully crack my own WEP key… using my laptop and a Seanao NL-2511CD PLUS EXT2 PCMCIA card… would this card work on my desktop PC if I bought a PCI to PCMCIA adapter for it?
