Ok, my BIOS recognizes that the hard drive is there, but when I go to boot, I get a screen that says “No Bootable Device”… I can boot ‘Live CD’s’ but cannot get to the HDD…Any suggestions? What I did proir to the problem was try to load Damn Small Linux over Suse. Any suggestions? Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

I just made a “live CD” and I’m trying Linux for my first time. When I try to mount any of the “sda” it says:
“I could not determine the filesystem type and none was specified”
What should I do to mount my pendrive?

hey what are some new linux live cds out there that i can use for my old computer. i just need it to connect online using my itouch apps such as iphone modem or pdanet to connect online. i used puppy linux and damn small linux but both i cant get to use the itouch for online.

how do you access usb drives on dsl,and what program do u use to access it
how do you access usb drives on dsl,and what program do u use to access it,i know about /root/ etc. but the filepath command is different on this linux. it like doesnt even have a program to access your files.example on my other linux if i type in
system:/media/sda2
it will show me the drive,but with this system i type that in and it comes up with a error
