linux users and computer geeks help please?

i upgraded to windows 7 about a year ago and i like it a lot.much better than crap vista.but i have been playing around with some linux live cds of late.i tried ubuntu and passed on that.tried fedora 12 and liked very much.but my favorite linux distro i have looked at is pclinuxos 2010 .it blew me away.if it wasn’t for windows 7 i would dump windows all together and go pure linux.my problem is i like windows 7 and pclinuxos a lot.what little i find on the net says windows 7 and pclinuxos 2010 don’t get along.can i dual boot 7 and pclinuxos 2010 or do i have to make a choice.would love to have them both.thanks to anyone who can give me a straight answer.

Ubuntu Dual-Boot Windows 7?

Ok so i just got my Ubuntu 10.04 Desktop LTS in the mail. i am using the live cd so it is basically a dual boot. but when i get into ubuntu, it says for my ethernet and wireless that it is disconnected. One time when it booted, it said for the wireless that the device was not ready. i have read around and apparently windows is screwing with my Linux. Is there a way around this crap without uninstalling windows? P.S. I have used ndisgtk.

Can you boot ubuntu through flash drive?

About a month ago my 80gb ps3′s blue ray lazer went to crap, so me being impatient just went out and bought another playstation 3 (im addicted to cod mw2). Anyways i want to install linux on my old ps3, considering it still runs. But the problem is i cant boot a live cd. So can you boot ubuntu on the ps3 through a thumb drive?

what is the best Linux distro for an old crap computer?

I have an old Windows ME machine that I want to put Linux on. It’s got 128mb of RAM and a P3 processor @ about 1 Ghz.
I DO NOT want a live CD Linux, I have plenty of those that work.

I have tried and failed at getting these distros to install: Ubuntu, Kubuntu, Xubuntu, Mint, and TurboLinux.

Is there a good non-live CD distro that has very small system requirements?
