I downloaded the Ubuntu Linux Live CD ISO. The file size is almost 700MB. It was saved in my desktop. So I rightclicked on it, and clicked delete. Then went to the Recycle bin, right clicked on the ISO of Ubuntu (700MB) and clicked delete. But did this REALLY delete it from my computer? Because I don’t want to use up the Diskspace of 700. If not, what other way can you delete this file? Thanks.
Im looking for a live cd of Ubuntu
I have downoaded the Linux Ubuntu Live CD on my laptop, and burned the image to a CD-R. Now, can I copy … the cd to my desktop … and burn another iso cd from that? Or do I have to download the whole thing on the desktop?

the cd image is of knoppix (live linux) .. and I donot have a cd burner… so i thought of putting it on a pendrive.. and use the pendrive to boot. Please help!!!
I want to try Kubuntu, but I’m confused as to how to get the CD to work?
And let me warn you, I don’t want anyone throwing snide comments about the damn OS war. I just want to give Linux a shot. I downloaded the live CD ISO of the website, but when I boot from the disk, the menu comes up, and I’ll click an option, and the hard drive light will flash for about 5 seconds, and then nothing… Help?
