Looking for someone who wants to help me with linux installation via email?

i’m looking for someone who knows what they are doing and is willing to help me with my installation. i’m very interested in linux and currently have ubuntu running but want to add some of that sheen that beryl and compiz give it. I’d mainly want to chat with the person via email or messaging to be taught linux off of an expert. Online tutorials are not really my thing. Thanks to anyone who considers this and double thanks to the person who wants to do it. Like a digital pen pal thing in a non gay way!! Thanks.

how can u activate compiz fusion in a ubuntu 7.10 live cd. or is there another version of ububtu to do this?

i have win xp and i do not want to install linux ubuntu. i want to see the compiz fusion, so download ubuntu 7.10 and made a live cd. now how can i activate it or this there other version which already has this compiz fusion or beryl in it so i can use it from live cd with out installing linux. pls give any link so i can download that version. thanks.

can i run ubuntu 7.10 with networking with xp from live cd?

i am sort of new in Linux world. i have download Ubuntu 7.10 desktop edition. now i want to boot that from cd. and i want to use internet when i am in Linux os. but i don’t want remove win xp from my pc which i have right now. i also do not want to separate my hard drive. is it possible to do that. or i have to separate my hard drive. and also, is Ubuntu 7.10 has beryl integrated. thnx

I Have a PC Booting Problem?

Here is what happened. I found out about this thing called wubi so I installed it and it worked good. I installed beryl. I was having problems with screen resolution and frequency. So I edited the some file. Then I restarted my pc and when I select either Windows or Wubi the system stops working and restarts.I do not care about ubuntu. If I can not find a solution I will run a Linux Live CD, copy all my files tomy web server and MegaUpload. Then I will do system recovery. Is this the best solution. If there is a way to fix this please let me know. By the way I cannot boot windows in safe mode or any other mode. I would Really appreciate some help.
