alright, so my build is pretty much done for part choice, i’m pretty sure all parts are compatable, and i’m still under my price range with all these parts. total price is around 1100$.

In your opinion, how does this look for a build? i may get an optical drive on a later date and i’m a linux user so i can install my os by live CD.
one question i need to ask is: if i get a high quality soundcard, will it disable the one on the MoBo? When making my linux Kernel, i don’t want to make the MoBo sound work, but the card’s.
Also, is there anything else i’ missing other than speakers, a monator and a mouse? (i have those already) Thanks! if you need extra info, let me know!
I picked out an optical drive so i’ll be good with that and i’m going to put win7 on it when i have time, i just gotta go out and get a copy. I realize the MB is sometimes DOA, but it’s the best one i can find; i’ll check on tigerdirect too.
