Which version of Linux is best 4 using with common home PC?
I want to download a Linux ’substitute’ to windowsXP OS. I found a huge number of different linux versions on the net & i’m really confused!!! any help anyone?? One thing, I’d prefer a LIVE CD version, which can b run directly 4m CD, and of cousre it should b totally FREE!!

Ubuntu! You can get on the website and they will mail you a copy for free. It is very easy to install.

Yes, the Linux for now is free most especially the older version i suggest you use red hat , is simple and so friendly too
