which program allows you to boot up a pc?

im making a live-cd install disk of knoppix, a linux based OS. i have knoppix burned and it doesnt prompt knoppix. what other programs do i need to include on the disk for it to boot up knoppix. i’ve wasted like 6 disks already -.-. thanks

  2. presuming you have a floppy then check out: sbminst.exe, a DOS program that installs Smart Boot Manager to a floppy disk. – http://btmgr.sourceforge.net/download.html
    otherwise it is ‘possible’ to launch the boot from USB but it is kind of advanced : http://rz-obrian.rz.uni-karlsruhe.de/knoppix-usb/
    it’ll be dependent on how current your system is also,
