You need your windows cd then go to repair system and type bootrec.exe /fixmbr

Also you should have searched for drivers in ubuntu under system>preferences>hardware drivers

Well if you have that recovery disk, then really, boot your computer up from it and then use that, it’s suppose to wipe your computer’s hard drive and then reinstall Windows Vista just like how the computer was when you bought it… Linux is pretty kewl though, at least you can use the computer right now

Right now though I am a long time PC user, but soon I’ll be getting a MacBook… we

My friend had the same problem with you. I am sure your computer has registry problems.It is very easy to repair GRUB 22 error. you just need 3 steps:

1: Download a registry cleaner and install it.
2: Open the registry cleaner and scan you computer for free
3: Click fix button and you done.
