i try live cd in two computer wifi work in one computer find but not in the other one. i install ubuntu in one of them and i want to start wifi in that one but i can only connect for some time then i can’t connect after that. is there any way i can connect to wifi internet in ubuntu.
i have netgear WG111v2.
i also tried ndiswrapper but after i install it ubuntu never even find my wireless adepter.
PLease help with this problem i am trying this for week and i wasted lots my hours figuring this out.
also is there any other linux OS that work with wifi easily.

Wireless is still pretty new, and Linux doesn’t support it as well as it supports wired networking yet.

its not the gear its the wifi….connect to a different server or get better ethernet

My recommendation is drop Ubuntu and just go with windows XP. XP already supports wireless networking hassle free!
