Ubuntu live cd help?

My cd boots up then it turns into a orange brown screen and i get 3 options when i choose 1 nothing happens

need more info..what are the three options? orange-brown screen is the ubuntu background. are you sure u have no menu on top of screen? also, live cd is slower than installed program, so you have to wait sometimes for things to finish. I use a ubuntu based Linux called simply mepis, so I may be able to help you garbal68@hotmail.com

You can then proceed with the installation with the instructions at Easy Ubuntu Linux. If the screen does not look like this one, you need to give us more information.
