Ok so I downloaded Linux onto a live CD and got it working on my computer (It’s Linux Puppy if it matters). I would now like to try out Ubuntu also. However, I don’t want to make another live CD since it would be getting kind of wasteful. Is there anyway to have both Ubuntu and Puppy on the same live CD and choose which one to run on the computer start up. It’s a CD-R so I can’t erase the Linux Puppy. Also don’t worry about CD size. I think I have enough room. Thanks.
No.
The Linux Ubuntu CD uses up just about the entire CD space, there is no room for both on one CD

When you burned the Puppy on the CD it was finalized so you cannot add files to it.
Using Nero you could put both on a new DVD however.

If you can boot from usb then you could use a flash drive to run live cd images.
Check out this program that will make a bootable usb drive for you:

You’d have to make an iso with 2 partitions and you’d have to add the other distro to the GRUB menu.lst file. It’s doable, but it takes more knowledge than just burning 2 files to a disk. Try the Ubuntu forum – someone may have done it and will send you the iso – http://ubuntuforums.org/index.php
