You burned it as an iso on the disk right?

You need to go into the BIOS and set the computer to boot from the CD drive. It’s looking at your hard drive first and loading that. When you boot up you should see an instruction which key to npress for BIOS. it will be one of the Fkeys at the top. set to boot from CD and you will be ok.
