You need to update or reinstall grub. I have not used backtrack but the link below might work.
If it does not if you can boot to a live cd to mount all the partitions that you want grub to use and open a terminal to run the command
update-grub
The various linux distros have a slightly different way of updating and reinstalling grub. You could google for update (or reinstall) grub + the name of the distro livecd you are using.
