Check that you are set to boot from CD first in your BIOS and not your Hard drive. Also if your MB allows it, try booting from a USB Thumb drive.

Can you get into the BIOS? If so make sure everything is in order there. Hmm, is there any info there for hdd or cd/dvd drive?? Not sure tho, maybe you’ll need a new hdd. Hope this helps at least a little!
