Talk to your school counselor son.
I think a woman needs an education in order for her to stand on her own if she needs to as in your mother’s case.Being a wife and mother are noble things, but your mom put all her eggs into one basket when she married your dad without a back up plan and when he died it threw her into a role she was never prepared for and she is stressed.
Now if you can prove she is abusive then they can make her go to counseling and it may help.Try to understand her side of it,I am NOT saying she is right in her behavior towards you kids, she isn’t yet do you do things you know will make life harder on her?She has ALL the burden of raising you ,feeding,clothing you and medical care the whole 9 yards.
