Go to redhat.com and download the latest version of Fedora Core. It’s the free version of Redhat. It should support your set up.

UBUNTU should work it is a great o s seems to work great on all the (older) systems i have tried. if you want power and speed try gentoo in it you can configure the kernel for your exact system
