  1. you need to have 4 partitions of which only one is active. If you made the other partitions active then you heed to format the hdd completely to one partition then create the others again. They are all primary partitions but only C drive is active.

    you need to research how many partitions your computer can support, although this is more to do with older pc’s. It may be linked with how many other ide devices you got. (devices plugged into the ribbon)

    Put the oldest OS on the first partition, etc and your own files on the fourth.
    You need to load common programs on each partition, eg antivirus, and any other program you want to use on each OS,

    I havent got win7 but my friends suggest you might as well blow Vista away, as it is resource hungry. win7 is vista done right.

    Name your partitions, because on some computers, the one you boot on is automatically called C drive.
