When I try run linux live cd’s (Ubuntu and Xubuntu) my computer tells me it cannot find bin/sh, I used Infra recorder, also before the burning process begins it tells me that I have a DVD RW drive (which I do) and asks me if I want to write to DVD media, I reply no because I am burning to cd’s.
What is wrong and what should I do ?.
Try another live CD, maybe Knoppix or Damn Small Linux.
Or maybe an earlier or later version of Ubuntu (the current stable version is 7.04 “Edgy”). Also try the Ubuntu help forums.

The download could have become corrupted.
Try downloading again.
Also, because your problem could be the burning software you are using – download ISO Recorder – free – you can drag and drop with it.

Probably you copy files from the original and then burns it on cd (doing it this way you’ll loose some files necessary to boot from the live cd). Instead of this use the COPY CD option in your burning software or use other software that has this. You’ll need the original LiveCD to copy.
