I’m not sure what this question means. Do you mean that you want to access your Ubuntu Live CD from Windows, or that you want to access Ubuntu from Windows? Because Ubuntu is a completely different operating system from Windows, so when you run one, you don’t need the other. They are completely incompatible with one another.

if you have linux(ubuntu) and windows xp on the same system then you should have them in separate partitions.because they are in separate partitions its nearly impossible to get the file from one partition to the other.if you are looking for a driver, you can go to support.dell.com for dell drivers.just choose 600m for the product and then choose network on the list of drivers.most likely your ethernet driver is intel or broadcom anyway.

i think you should be able to do this. change the download location of the torrent to the windows partition when you do this. if you want then you should install that ubuntu on your computer permanently: http://apcmag.com/6101/dualboot_windows_xp_and_ubuntu
i got a link for you from where you can download your drivers:

If Linux will use ethernet then so will Windows with the right drivers. Go to the support section on http://dell.com or http://DriverGuide.com
If all else fails, boot to Linux, mount the Windows (C) drive and select that drive as the destination for the downloads.
