Linux noob – I’m booting from an Ubuntu Live CD to replace a bad sys file, what do I need to know?

I have to get in to replace volsnap.sys – I’ve played with Linux before but strictly on a Linux machine, never with Windows. How do I get into the file location to replace it if I can’t just click on the icons to lead me to where I need to be?
