linux for old computers?

hey what are some new linux live cds out there that i can use for my old computer. i just need it to connect online using my itouch apps such as iphone modem or pdanet to connect online. i used puppy linux and damn small linux but both i cant get to use the itouch for online.

  1. I doubt many if any would work flawlessly with your iTouch. Ask on Ubuntuforums.org and see if there is anything that will help

    You might want to ask this question on Linux.org for a wide audience.

    Maybe there are a few running Linux on their Mac that can provide you with the best answers… But I would think Apple proprietary closed source is not insurmountable, but you never know until you ask…

    I have AntiX running on a Pentium III. 512 memory. 80 gig drive.

    It is hooked up to my network and I access it by ssh and vnc.

    If you have trouble finding drivers for your itouch, try sidux.
