  2. a linux OS iso file is burned to a CD as an image file and should be bootable provided you set your computer’s CMOS or BIOS (same thing) to boot from CD first. If it doesn’t, the problems depends on the error given. If all these things are in good order, no ‘additional files’ are needed.
