I tried it in various ways. The iso file burns but does not boot even after choosing the “burn to cd” option. Do I have to add some boot related file? The Puppylinux iso do not need any additional files. It easily burns and it is rebootable. Please help.
Here is a how to burn an iso with nero.
Be sure to read the instructions for how to instal and use linux on the puppy linux site. here is a link for the puppy 4.0 manual.
Good luck

a linux OS iso file is burned to a CD as an image file and should be bootable provided you set your computer’s CMOS or BIOS (same thing) to boot from CD first. If it doesn’t, the problems depends on the error given. If all these things are in good order, no ‘additional files’ are needed.
