Ok so Vista sucks really bad and uses to much of my cpu. I’ve heard that vista won’t let you boot xp from cd at startup so I was wondering how else i would do it. I don’t want to duel boot them, I just want vista off and xp on. Please give me step by step instructions.

There are several ways. you could make a boot disk and format using that or if you have a linux live cd you could boot that and delete the partition. try google. no need to give you step by step instructions if all you need to do it look yourself.
