Your emails will be in a file with the extension .pst (e.g., Outlook.pst).
The default location for this file is in the private folders of the particular user account, usually here:
C:Documents and SettingsLocal SettingsApplication Data
MicrosoftOutlookOutlook.pst
(where is the Windows user account name)
Copy this file and you will have your emails. You might have to span CD’s or use an external hard drive because the file can be quite large.

The above is correct if you are using Windows XP.
If you are using Windows Vista, the location you are looking for will be:
C:UsersAppData LocalMicrosoft OutlookOutlook.pst
You should also copy the Archive.pst in the same location if you want to recover you’re archived emails.
