you have to “mount” the harddrive, then you can download to that drive, and it should run, but if you are liking linux that well, then why not install instead of running on live cd. I use the link below, they will send you any amount of cd’s for free, it comes with Ubuntu Live CD and Hard Install CD. Ubuntu is another Linux program, the CD’s take a couple of weeks to arrive, they come from overseas.
