I want to instal Puppy and partition my HDD in order to
some sites said to get Gparter
I have both Gparter and the puppy iso burned to Cd’s
How do I work Gparter to get 1-2 GB of space for Puppy?
or will the live CD do that on its own??
thank you for your time
Well when you boot to the linux cd you’ll see a partitioner that allows you to create a partition for linux during the install process. GParted is good for manipulating partitions after the fact. So when you’re doing the Puppy install simply tell the partitioner to use 2 gigs of space, however you may want to use more depending on the requirements for that particular linux distro.
