I Believe that you already format or deleted the old partition where your files are placed right?
if so, and your a bit eager to get your files you can still salvage your files
install your hard disk ” the files needed to be recovered ” to a windows pc then install EASEUS Data Recovery Wizard Pro v4.3.6 run a full scan from your hard drive.. you should see all the files whether its been deleted,formatted and deleted its partition..
