I used Fedora 3 and 4 a long time ago… They were okay, but nothing to write home about. They’ve really abandoned the “free” as in “free beer” market and have focused on the commercial server market. They forget one thing… If I can’t run Fedora I’m not going to buy Red Hat server software, that’s for sure.

@leodamascus ugh, AGAIN, this feature was included in the UI update w/ snow leopard. i dont have it, but its an option after you check off autohide.. it always shows on the desktop, but when i bring an app up, it hides allowing the app to fill the screen, which to you is the only reason apple sucks. i hate how linux fanboys have brag about how great linux is so much they dont even use the OS.

A. You came to a Linux video to plug your OS. Calling me a fanboy is the pot calling the kettle black.
B. I can’t find a single reference to a smart auto-hide. Either you’re confusing a normal auto-hide with what I’m talking about, or your full of crap.
C. That’s just an example of Linux superiority. There’s also licensing, stability, security, notify-osd, Me Menu, the calendar applet, synaptic, easy theming, mutliple UIs, hardware compatibily, price, specialized distros…

@IncrediguyPro well it crashed during install and was half the speed of Kubuntu in live cd vm on same hardware so its not a very good beta, should be called alpha
