Could I stop using the GRUB loader on linux? (For an experienced linux user)?

I want to dual boot the full version of Linux, Fedora… with Windows 7 which is already installed, the problem is it comes with the GRUB loader, and that’s a problem because the last time I did that with Ubuntu, I was very unsatisfied with that installation of Ubuntu, and it was better from a live cd. I booted back into Windows and deleted the partition of Ubuntu, and didn’t touch the GRUB loader and the system crashed. I re-installed ubuntu but then windows didn’t work at all.

Now I wanna try Fedora and I tried it from a live USB (another install of ubuntu worked except flash player)… I wanna use Fedora but I don’t want to deal with all the GRUB krud again, the NT boot loader is better in my opinion…

    No,
    Dual-Boot or Multi-Boot:
Install Linux Fedora 11 on a Windows 7 computer
(Win7 installed first and GRUB controlling startup after Linux installation)

  2. NTLDR can’t boot Linux directly, but it can chainload a Linux bootloader like Grub4dos
