Simply fixing problems caused by a virus is a losing proposition. The virus will win by causing more problems that you can fix. You MUST remove the virus. If the system restore works run an antivirus immediately. If it doesn’t work download an antivirus like clamav with the linux live cd and run that.
Good luck
