You might be able to, but you would have to create a menu used for the selection of which OS to boot, plus probably customize a few other things so it would actually work.

no you cant, not if you intend to boot from it, it will have to be 2 seperate discs. 1 for each operating system.

why dont u u se knoppix..version3.2 or 3.3
u can boot ur system juss with a single cd and can run ur linux os on that.!

yes you for sure can I cant tell you how to do this but i have a couple of professional made disks that are setup this way
I would bet there is a tutorial out there in a forum somewhere

Linux ISO files are designed to be burned to a CD, not a DVD. But, blank CDs are twice as expensive as blank DVD-R disks, so it’s cheaper to use one DVD for each Linux Distro.
And, if you’re not a programmer, you’ll go crazy trying to make a menu to choose which Distro to load, if you try to put two Distros on a single DVD.
But, it could be done, if you understand Linux Boot Loaders.

Looks like the “smallest” Fedora is 3GB on torrent.fedoraproject.org, while Ubuntu 9.10 is 690MB so on a 4GB DVD or more, the crunching of both Linux distributions should be possible…However, if you are looking at one of them 3.5 or above Fedora’s you might as well kiss Ubuntu goodbye, it’s your choice really… =P Hope this helps!
