  1. Did you tweak the BIOS boot order? Put the cd first , the floppy second and remove the hard disk from the list.
    Any PATA laptop disk will work, buy one from a friend or ofrom any Ebay type site.

  2. Are you sure it supports booting from CD? Theoretically it should, but it doesn’t look like it originally shipped with a CD drive, so maybe not.

  3. You need to create a linux build that matches your hardware.

    you can locate plenty of cheap hard drives on ebay, you know.
