okay, so if you read my past questions it pretty much explains the computer im currently on.
This cpu WILL NOT boot up…itll get up to the point after the diagnostic boot screen then say soemthing about a dll file missing.
I tried to do a system restore…[6 or 7 times..] and I just keep gettin blue screen of death halfway through.
im using a kubuntu Live CD [thank god I ordered 20 linux CD's] to use internet someone pleaseee…help me. its windows media center edition[ 2003]
Sounds like a hardware conflict of some kind. You might try connecting the CD-ROM to a different ribbon cable on your motherboard.

Start in safe mode & Boot up with cd rom support – this should re install & un-do yout reg problem.
